TEACHING & MENTORING
2023 TOAF Art Encounters Program Mentor
Met with two artists who want to apply to TOAF 2023 and the Art Encounters Program. We discussed how to:
• talk about your art in interviews
• grow and maintain your subscriber list
• use social media effectively
• price artworks
• balance communication and pricing on a 2 sided practice: commissioned portraiture + more personal works which is more expressive
• create a professional CV and portfolio • write an Artist Statement • prepare a strong TOAF application
