I was watching a television drama that involved the cutting of a huge transatlantic undersea cable that connected Europe and North America's internet. I was surprised to learn that in this era of wireless connectivity that we still rely so much on wires to connect us to services. 

After that I began to notice the wires stretching across our country as I travelled and created images for my Moving Landscapes series. This series is about the ways of connection. And how our methods of connection interfere with nature. Disrupt it.
