Spina Bifida Front to Back
After reading about the exhibition, I said to myself, ‘I want to be a part of this!’ I’ve only ever seen my scar from the distorted rear view in a mirror. Seeing it photographed in such an artistic and sensual way it’s absolutely beautiful! That’s not a word I ever would have used to describe my back before. The front portrait was easy. I just had to play off my photogenic little Pomeranian, Cleo. She steals the spotlight wherever we go.
