This collection is pretty self-explanatory. The forest is truly made up of the trees within it and all the other things that live there. Trees communicate with each other. Provide food and shelter for animals and other plants. We humans exploit them for building supplies, fire wood and so much more. Trees and plants provide the oxygen and scrub carbon molecules from our atmosphere. In short, they are huge reason why we as a species still exist. Indeed, why the planet is still alive. 

Being among trees and water has been a saving grace for me many times in my life. And when it all gets to be too much, I seek out the solitude and support of nature. The wind whooshing through the trees. The creatures dancing through, around and between them. All of that brings me back to a sense of calm and peace that everyday life wears away.
